I first want to start off by saying … I LOVE Podcasts!!
What is a podcast? It's an audio show but I like to think of it as a free motivational, inspirational way to expand your mind. There are many different types of podcasts, for Example: Business, Comedy, Education, Self Help, Music, News …. The list goes on.
We have so many hours in the day that we could be learning (listening to podcasts) at the same time as we are doing daily tasks.
Think you don’t have time to listen? Well, what about the time every day while you are getting ready? That commute to work? That drive to the grocery store or meetings? During your workout? While cleaning your house & doing chores? That lonnnnnnng plane ride? Those times are perfect to get in a little extra motivation, inspiration, education or just a good laugh. I have been listening to so many great ones and had to share just a few of my personal favorites!
The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast – Lauryn Evarts of ( The Skinny Confidential ) & Michael Bosstick Talk Branding, Blogging, Entrepreneurship, Relationships, Travel, Marketing and Social media. They are a badass power couple, & I find them both so intelligent and entertaining. I just love listening to them!
LadyGang Podcast – These three girl bosses got the idea for this podcast while chatting and telling stories over a boozy brunch. They have celebrity guest stars and tell hilarious stories, get ready to laugh!
The #AskGaryVee Show - Gary Vaynerchuk is an energetic, motivational and business savvy entrepreneur. He and his guest stars answer your questions about Marketing, Social Media and Entrepreneurship.
The Bitch Bible by Jackie Schimmel - She's hilarious and is not afraid to say all of the bitchy thoughts you were thinking out loud.
There are so many other great ones, so be sure to jump on the bandwagon asap!
Ever since I began listening to podcasts, I have learned so many valuable points that I can apply to my daily life and business. I really feel that they brighten my day and uplift my mood as well, which is always a plus.
How do you listen? If you go onto your computer and go on iTunes or if you have an iPhone you have this little purple icon/app that most people don’t use or some don’t even know what it is… it looks like this
You can click on it and search for what interests you and explore!
Once you listen and figure out which ones you like, be sure to subscribe and rate them with 5 star reviews!
If you have any podcasts that you love and recommend, please feel free to comment below and share! I love finding new ones.
I hope that this post motivates you to start listening to podcasts in your spare time. You won't regret it :)
